Resting Heart Rate and Blood Pressure-
Heart Rate is measured for one minute while sitting in a relaxed position and should be approximately 70 beats per minute or lower.
Height and Weight- Measured using a standard mechanical body weight/height scale.
Muscular Endurance- Assessed by the total number of push-ups you are able to perform in one minute and the total number of abdominal curl-ups performed in one minute.
Flexibility- The “Sit-and-Reach” assesses lower back and hamstrings flexibility.
Grip Strength- A hand grip dynamometer is used to measure grip strength.
Body Composition- Assesses the ratio of fat to lean body mass.

The fitness assessment consists of two separate appointments.

The first appointment includes: fitness testing, complete health history, measurements, and diet analysis.

The second appointment will be a review of the results from the previous appointment combined with the program that was developed with your goals in mind and an orientation to your exercise program.
